Generalized Integrable Lattice Systems

We generalize Toda–like integrable lattice systems to non–symmetric case. We show that they possess the bi–Hamiltonian structure.

A Lax pair for a lattice modified KdV equation, reductions to q-Painlevé equations and associated Lax pairs

We present a new, nonautonomous Lax pair for a lattice nonautomous modified Korteweg–deVries equation and show that it can be consistently extended multidimensionally, a property commonly referred to as being consistent around a cube. This nonautonomous equation is reduced to a series of q-discrete Painlevé equations, and Lax pairs for the reduced equations are found. A 2× 2 Lax pair is given f...

HIERARCHIES OF NONLINEAR INTEGRABLE q-DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS FROM SERIES OF LAX PAIRS

We present, for the first time, two hierarchies of nonlinear, integrable q-difference equations, one of which includes a q-difference form of each of the second and fifth Painlevé equations, qPII and qPV, the other includes qPIII. All the equations have multiple free parameters. A method to calculate a 2× 2 Lax pair for each equation in the hierarchy is also given.

Binary Nonlinearization of Lax Pairs

A kind of Bargmann symmetry constraints involved in Lax pairs and adjoint Lax pairs is proposed for soliton hierarchy. The Lax pairs and adjoint Lax pairs are nonlinearized into a hierarchy of commutative finite dimensional integrable Hamil-tonian systems and explicit integrals of motion may also be generated. The corresponding binary nonlinearization procedure leads to a sort of involutive sol...

On Lax pairs and matrix extended simple Toda systems

Noncommutative theories have been studied and probed from different viewpoints (see reviews [18, 34, 48]). For instance, a number of noncommutative generalizations of integrable systems were presented (see, e.g., [9, 16, 17, 24, 39]). Solutions were investigated using the dressing method and Riemann-Hilbert problems, formulations, and properties such as infinite sets of conserved quantities wer...
